Lyrics:
I’ve been feeling out of control
There’s no healing between all the roads
And there’s no comfort
Am I losing my soul?
Is it too late, to just let it go?
Someday I will wake up and everything has changed
Until then I will dream of better days
Still living in the sorrow and learning from the pain
Until then I will dream of better days
I tried to hold on but it slipped through my hands
Do you believe in a second chance for all we’ve been through?
Don’t you think we deserve so much more than this hurt?
And someday I will wake up and everything has changed
Until then I will dream of better days
Still living in the sorrow and learning from the pain
Until then I will dream of better days
I’ve been feeling so out of control
There’s no healing
And someday I will wake up and everything has changed
Until then I will dream of better days
Still living in the sorrow and learning from the pain
Until then I will dream of better days
Someday I will wake up and everything has changed
Until then I will dream of better days
Still living in the sorrow and learning from the pain
Until then I will dream of better days

5 months agoWhy did y’all do a version with this girl? This version sucks. I heard it on the radio and a bunch of guys I work with were like “WTF is this?” I said, the original song is a good song. Her vocals just kind of ruin it.

5 months agoLast week was the anniversary of my older brother's death in a car accident. He actually introduced me to Staind way back when they started. I've recently been putting together a playlist of songs and this one is going on it. This song sums up a lot of what I feel when I think about him even 6 years later. Thank you, Staind for this beautiful way for me to express how I feel.

5 months agoI remember the very first time I heard Staind, where I was, and what was going on. Mud shovel, I dove into that album, a buddy who got me into Staind told me it was the 2nd verson of it, I went back to Tormented and have bought every album since, I have downloaded or dod my best to put my hands (or ears) on anything Staind or Aaron Lewis has been a part of. I do not give a rats ass what anyone ever says negative, they are one of the greatest of all time.
I have been a HUGE fan of his solo work as well, I love country as much as I do rock and Aaron makes real country, old school style. The man could sing a Uline catalog and make it epic. Now to actually add another person to his track that already hits so hard. Fkn magic. I am 44 and If I live to 90 I will be jamming to them. If I am dead, run a charger to my grave and keep their music on loop. #staindforever

5 months agoEverything feels better with staind and sounds better. Life is just better overall. Since 2001 this band has helped me overcome- death, pain, loneliness, judgement, love, ,peer pressure, loss, deception, addiction, suicide. There’s more but their songs always leaves a person with hope
