It's the goddamn Ramones all over again but this time they can actually play their instruments and this doesn't hold a candle to them live which makes this awesome tag a meh in front of the awesome not because it's diminished in its prerecorded awesomeness, it isn't, its because these cats were just that fing awsome live and I ain't talking the best venue in town where even the architecture supports the performance I mean in this bar jammed into some subdivided property that used to be closet efficiencies before law caught up to that racket and the building got gutted and now has a coffee shop up front and a little head shop in the middle and the "stage" is an afterthought that was milk crates and plywood by common consensus and spur of the moment f it without consideration of what ownership thought of it having failed to this point and ownership when faced with the result of said fiat acompli wisely chose not to buck against the verdict of the spirit of the customer base and instead threw the minimum money at it that modified it with eye on ensuring liable had no part in it with no thought given at any time to advantaging the performers or performances with the inspiration sparking it's existence being bands are supposed to be off the floor proper aren't they?
